Request for Public Comment: West Precinct Polling Place Change

Request for Public Comment, Polling place change:

Beginning May 13, 2022 and continuing through July 5, 2022,

Per §24.2-129 of the Code of Virginia, all Radford Citizens are invited to comment on a planned change to the Radford City, West Precinct Polling place.

The Electoral Board and the Director of Elections, have recommended to Radford City Council, moving the West Precinct Polling place.

From:

Carter Street United Methodist Church at 1223 2nd Street, (the corner of Carter and 2nd)

To:

Compassion Church, Radford, at 1820 2nd Street, (the corner of Ingles and 2nd)

This move is intended to provide better traffic flow, more parking and a larger polling place room to accommodate the increasing numbers of West Radford voters.

No other polling places will be affected by this change.
