Water System Improvements to Grandview Heights

The Grandview Heights subdivision area will receive water system improvements to replace the fifty-year old 2” galvanized water main beginning on October 5, 2020. The 500’ of water line will be replaced with 6“ PVC and will include customer connections.  The project will improve system reliability, as well as increase flow and pressures in the general area of the project. The work is scheduled to start on or about October 5th and is expected to take 30 working days, barring any unforeseen problems and weather permitting. Except for special circumstances, normal work hours will be between 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. During this time street parking will be restricted. “No Parking” signs will be installed 3 days in advance of scheduled tasks. Residents should be aware that access to their driveways may be restricted during working hours.  Upon completion of the main water line, all homes will then have their services renewed. Any questions or concerns now and throughout the project, can be directed to Don Green, Water/Waste Water Department by email at
